Ron (RJ) Whyte - Location Manager / Funeral Director
Born and raised in Vancouver, Ron joined First Memorial Funeral Services in 1989 as a Funeral Director, working at the North Vancouver location. In 1990 he became Manager of First Memorial Funeral Services Vancouver, and then in 1992 moved to Vancouver Island where he has managed the Nanaimo location ever since.

Debbie Woznesensky - Assistant Manager
Debbie was born in Edmonton, Alberta. She moved to Vancouver in 1979 and entered the funeral profession in 1981. After 24 years on the mainland Debbie, her husband Lyall and family, moved to Nanaimo, BC where she is enjoying her position with First Memorial.

Karen Geck - Funeral Director
Born and raised in Vancouver, Karen began her funeral service career in 1989 in Williams Lake, British Columbia. She joined the First Memorial Funeral Services Nanaimo team in 2001.

Richard Gammon - Funeral Director
Following four years with the Royal Canadian Air Force and many years in the business world, Richard, in 1991 turned his energy to funeral service. He came to First Memorial Funeral Services in 1995, working in the Okanagan before moving to Nanaimo in 2000.

Nadia Krewenki - Funeral Director
Born in Nottingham, England, and raised in Grande Cache, Alberta, Nadia moved to Nanaimo in 1983. She operated her own hair salon within a health care facility for the elderly until beginning her funeral service career in 2004 with First Memorial Funeral Services Nanaimo.

Ben Weaver - Funeral Service Assistance
Another retired banker, Ben has been a resident and worked in Nanaimo since 1965. He joined First Memorial Funeral Services Nanaimo in 2001.

Edwin Bussian - Funeral Director
Born in Claresholm, Alberta, Ed grew up on the family farm in Saskatchewan. He is a career Funeral Director, having received his licence in New Westminster in 1968. Ed moved to Nanaimo in 1973 and has been with First Memorial Funeral Services Nanaimo since 1983.

Sheila Hemphill - Pre-Planning Advisor
Born in Claresholm, Alberta, Sheila split time between Canada and St. Helena, Venezuela while operating a commercial diving company. She moved to Vancouver Island in 1995 and joined Fist Memorial Funeral Services Nanaimo in 2000.
